Guided nature walk

Walk in the Wild

Explore the wilderness in and around Wild Coast Tented Lodge in the company of an expert ranger, who will point out visible animals and identify tracks of animals that have traversed our property recently. The combination of our ranger’s knowledge and the ability to walk through the forestry makes for the quintessential wilderness experience.

Fun for All

A guided nature walk is an ideal introduction to the wild for families who want to share an immersive experience and venture into the wilderness slowly and safely.

Things to note

  • Walking trails are conducted with a safety-first approach. Therefore, it is essential that guests follow the instructions of our ranger at all times. We reserve the right to cancel walks at full charge if guests do not obey ranger orders, are intoxicated at the start of the walk or attempt to touch or chase after animals.
  • The jungle around Wild Coast is in the ‘Buffer Zone’ of the National Park which is a forest reserve. Guests should be mindful and respectful of this level of protection.
  • Wild animals such as leopards, elephants, buffalo, sloth bears and snakes traverse our lodge frequently so it is essential to walk quietly, be alert and follow instructions of your ranger at all times.
  • Once booked, cancellations need to be made 12 hours prior, else the full fee will be charged.
  • Recommended for children aged six and above.
  • Can customize according to guest preference.
