Reverie’s collection of intimate resorts embodies this in a meaningful and conscious manner – integrating slow life by way of restful and soulful stays, relishing and nourishing cuisine, rediscovering our island home, and rejuvenating one’s well being through a host of holistic therapies.
Core Values
The core brand values remain the same as Resplendent, as Reverie is a sister brand and born out of the same family and concept. Our offerings in terms of guest experience and service will be mindfully and personally paced. Reverie however will focus on smaller, intimate properties across Sri Lanka.
Experience Reverie
The Reverie guest experience will be an equilibrium of connectivity and seclusion. Think digital detox zones, personalised mindfulness and a focus on mental wellbeing, spaces across our resorts where you are in control of the pace of your day. Your home away from home. There will be no set times for meals or activities; the latter are a curated selected few that are unlike what conventional boutique resorts and hotels offer. Discerning travellers will find our resorts a sort of refuge for switching off and tending to their inner wellbeing.
Unique Offering
We find it very timely, given the state of the world, where we’ve discovered the development Reverie is exactly what everyone needs. People need to slow down. People need to be mindful. People need to be the author of their own pace. People need to just be.
A continent’s worth of attractions are rarely found on one small island. Travellers from across the world love Sri Lanka because of its breathtaking landscapes, diverse history, rich biodiversity and incredibly warm, genuine hospitality. Combined with a greater focus on inner wellness and wellbeing, we certainly see Reverie as a unique offering.
Reverie Resorts
Kayaam House situated on the south coast in Tangalle, is a spiritual sanctuary in a secluded spot just steps from the vast Indian Ocean, home to six Ocean Rooms, two Palm Suites and a chic, Bawa inspired 20-cover restaurant and bar. The Kayaam House journey focuses on restoration and recovery with wellness as a key part of every guest experience. The Sanctuary Spa will feature a treatment room with therapies based on traditional healing methods utilising hyperlocal herbs and spices, whilst guests can find additional opportunities to bathe in nature at the outdoor yoga pavilion or at the far-reaching infinity pool.
Perched on Ahungalla Point between two secluded bays on the south-west coast is Ahu Bay, a relaxed beach house for free-spirits, made up of a collection of four suites and three three-bedroom beach villas, available either on a rent-by-the-room or exclusive use basis. Pared-back, rustic interiors will feature neutral sandy tones, rattan furniture, recycled wood accents and plenty of natural greenery. A casual all-day dining venue which will serve Sri Lankan and international favourites, surrounded by manicured lawns, beach cabanas, a Sanctuary Spa and a shimmering infinity swimming pool.
Coming Soon
These openings will closely be followed by a third property, Kelburne Estate, set to open in December 2023 as a collection of hillside cottages in the tea carpeted mountains of Haputale.
